Hi Everyone! If you have been following me on Instagram or Facebook you have noticed that my husband and I have been away on vacation. St. John is one of our favorite tropical places to visit. We haven’t been out there since they had the big hurricane over a year ago and I’m delighted to say that the area has recovered well. There is some still noticeable damage. Especially, visiting some of our regular beach spots, which use to be filled with greenery and palm trees is now bare. But I’m happy to say the town itself looks like nothing ever happened.

As for our vacation, we have been going to St. John for years. Each time we visit we extend our stay because we love it so much! This year we decided to stay for a whole month. We time it so that we leave at the end of February and come back April 1st. It really is perfect timing. Anyone who lives in Vermont or the East Coast in general February is when the winter becomes unbearable. It gets to the point where we forget what warm weather even feels like. So we typically come back home when Spring is just beginning and the last bit of snow is done with.
